It is also a propietary things thrower, hoping to gain success from things that can be produced by itself, even when it has a very tough lesson from Beta. And boy, it is a lesson Sony must have forgotten, because now the ever-declining-in-stock-market company is releasing another expensive propietary thing: Blu-Ray. Many has predicted Sony is killing itself with Blu-Ray, and coupling two of its most apparent suicidal poisons make things worst.
