Songs of End of Times: The Verse of Warning

by Eko Prasetyo @ 8:03 PM

Year has gone by without much changes
Of all, only ages add in number
Ultimate sins are being waged

All are facing changes
Return of the biblical sins are here
Enlarged by the negligents

Watch! The Wraths of God are coing
Avert! The Sins that lure your faiths
Reject! The instincts to accept the inescapables
No Fear! His Protections are yours
Embrace! The Words of God!
Detach! Detach the skins of the world!

Self-Destruction Mechanism

by Eko Prasetyo @ 8:13 PM

Start with a tendency to lie.
Add a certain amount of tendency to let things done by others.
And throw into the mix a tendency to let lies continue.

Add a fact that leaders are lying everyday.
Add a fact that there are people following the leaders.
Add a fact that there are egoistic minds hidin behind a mask of leadership.
And throw into the mix the usual ways to bend logics to satisfy leaders need.

Add a fact that zealots follow the egoistic leaders.
Add a fact that the non-zealots are forced to adapt to the way of the zealots.
Add a fact that twisted logics will become the day-to-day rules.
And throw into the mix the ignorances that are valued as conformities by the silent majority.

Ignorances will let lies flourish
lies will let twisted logics grow
Twisted logics will let unbalance grow
And unbalances will soon cause destructions.

Add the fact that there are people who incline to lie in time of destructions.
Add a certain amount of tendency to let things done by those liars.
And throw into the mix a tendency to let the liars overgrown their controls.

You'll soon see twisted logics grow like vine
Rooting in silent majority's souls
And numb their senses

In the end, what's left are vampires and their victims.
Victims who ask the questions: Why there is none who oppose the liars?

Power...

by Eko Prasetyo @ 7:11 PM

...is a matter of believing.

If no one believes in war being the only tool to solve problems, then war has no bargaining power as tools.
If no one believes that a man is fit to be a leader, then the said man has no power in leadership
If no one believes that a lie is a truth, then the lie becomes lie still and truth still need to be sought

If many believes that one liar is trustworthy, then the lie becomes acceptable truth
If many believes that they need to do nothing about changing the way they live, then no one will have any changes

It's all about believing.
It's all about selling words and buying promises.

Evolution. Creationism. God.
It's all about believing.

So what's the limititation of believing?
What separates us from beasts?

Yep.

It's all about thinking.
Think about it !!

Ouch

by Eko Prasetyo @ 7:43 PM

I have been having physical overload lately, and still unable to find permanent cure.
The temproral cure is sleeping which makes me feel refreshed every morning. But as the real life begins assaulting my senses, I will be overloaded again and unable to think straight.
Two things that have been bothering me: cultural marriage obligation and cultural being-employed obligation.
Both I have been thinking out of the norms, and both I have been having assaults about.
I have to choice: embrace the de facto norms I am enforced with, or rebelling with self-indulgence.
Still, I have the fear or not surviving.....

Butterfly Effect

by Eko Prasetyo @ 8:49 PM

No Accidents Happen
Randomness is not real
Everything is connected
Cause we are parts of The One
And we are here
To better ourselves
So we may return
To Him in Betterness

No Randomness
Just Unexplainable Happenings

Receding

by Eko Prasetyo @ 7:05 PM

I have been having a receding hairline..that's a fact I mentioned yesterday.
The world is having a receding psychological safety...that's a fact we are somehow trying to ignore...and in this case, ignorance seems to be not a bliss
How come it is a bliss if we ignore that we are being burnt alive and sucked dry by strange vampiric legislations and perverted common sense?

The Unstoppable

by Eko Prasetyo @ 8:22 PM

Born, Live, Die
Endless Cycle of Fate
Unstoppable
Unmovable

A young friend of mine turned into a mother
The day a young friend of mine died
One door opens when a door closes
Unstoppable
Unmovable

What count are what given
A thousand praises worth more than
A house full of gold taken from
Those who are born, live, and die

Born, Live, Die
Spent time to give
Then you'll forever live

Made in China

by Eko Prasetyo @ 7:37 PM

Anyone who read DC Comics 52 episode 6 (of 52) and Checkmate 2 must be aware that Chinese growth has inspired even the greatest comic publisher in America to make superheroes based on China people and culture. And recent news that China has ambition to put man on the moon by the year 2024 has sparked yet another awe for China.

Will China become the superpower after the imminent collapse of United States of America and the bankruptcy of Europe (which will happen soon I believe) ? Or will USA, EU, UK, Japan, and China eat each other out in contest to rule the true power of the world: Money ?

For now, I believe they are still dependant on each others. But remember, each of them uses things that are Made in China in large numbers, so soon, China will overlap the other four and we all shall bow before the might of the Red Dragon.

Or perhaps India will rise first and tackle China? Perhaps every Bollywood movies has subliminal messages in them that forces our subconscious to "Think India"....

Doubled

by Eko Prasetyo @ 8:27 PM

It is quite questionable on how God plays trick on our life. Two days ago, I bought a cellphone, Siemens C75, as a back up phone because my main phone, Siemens S75 has been under reparation for over a month and the representative said it could take more weeks to fix it . It was Friday night when I had the C75 delivered to my home. The next morning, I had a call from siemens service center, saying that my the reparation on S75 is completed and I can have it back.

Talking about luck. If I wait for just two more days, I won't have to buy the C75 and wasted almost US$100 on a phone that I used for two days only.

It seems the C75 will really act as a backup phone afterall....

Review of Superman #653

by Eko Prasetyo @ 7:47 AM

5BULLETS
"Up, Up, and Away, Part 7: Up in The Sky"
Writer: Kurt Busiek and Geoff Johns
Artist: Pete Woods

Publisher: DC Comics

What makes Superman The Numero Uno Superhero: Strength, Compassion, and...Smarts!!

In Part 7 of the homecoming story arc for the big blue champion of the kind heart, we are thrown into a big, fast, and fun ride !!

In the previous six chapters, Clark Kent lives as normal human with the will to fight injustice with nothing but words and pure journalist instinct (he denied a Power Ring, what a guy!!). But as fate had it, Clark Kent can no longer be just Clark Kent; he must again become Superman again in order to save a world in need of strong, compassionate, and smart leader figure for the superheroes. Gaining his power little by little, he began his renewed action packed, tall-leaping, high flying crimebusting by fighting the low level supervillains: Hellgrammite, Silver Banshee, Bloodsport, Livewire, Puzzler, Trickster, and Riot in issues that make us grow together with the Big S in powers, and in fun!!

The Super Couple of Kurt Busiek and Geoff Johns have been showing us what kind of high soaring story can be made out Superman and his enemies, and in this chapter 7, the story is larger, stronger, higher, deadlier, and smarter.

Starting with the details on how powerful his resurrected artifact weapon is, Lex Luthor began throwing his wraths on both Superman and Metropolis as soon as Superman triggered his ego with two words: "My Protection."

Mind-controlled a highly advanced (and kinda magical) crystal machinaries and venting his frustations on a city that he claims to be its savior ("Metropolis was nothing, no more than a faded, overambitiously named also-ran, before I saved it, built it into what it's become...You're the worm in the apple, Superman, the canker in the rose.."), Lex makes Superman unleashes all of superpowers available in his cells to stop him: muscle cells, eye cells, and brain cells. Against an opponent that has his flying weapon breeds walking destructions from its shattered parts, it's a non-stop action for Superman. Even when he stops punching, his mind races fast to find a way to stop his archenemy.

Punches are thrown, lasers are shot, kryptonite is thrown into the mix,and buildings are destroyed while the egomaniac genius Lex Luthor exchanges philosophical thoughts and mental assaults with the Uber Hero. It's earth destroying earthman vs earth protecting alien, a mano to mano duel, a one on one showdown. Other heroes that came later found out that it is a dance for two only, a classic battle of the anathemas in a city shielded from outside world.

"No Outside help, no respite, just payback!"

But Luthor forgets, that help can come from Metropolis itself, and when it comes, it improves the odds for Superman when he is down.

In the end, it is clear that the best weapon to overcome a desperate situation is simply a "Willingness to take risks."

This is what every superhero comic book must be like: action mixed with great dialogue carried along by some carefully built momentum to reach a climax at the right moment and end with the readers craving for more in a story that makes every page count and every panel meaningful.

Pete Woods' art comes alive with every destroyed building, with every mechanical construct destrying Metropolis, with every Superman's agony, with every Lex Luthor's sinister smile, in every moment, and in every panel. Brad Andersons colors provides the right hues, glows, and shades. Nick. J Napolitano's letters give the music a perfect composition with lettered words that augmented the feeling of the story, and Terry & Rachel Dodson and Alex Sinclair pack the thrill
in a nice, classic themed cover.

Superman is back, and he's great, and hopefully, he stays great.

Pray that it won't be like the last words of the issue: "...and we're not flying anymore, just hurtling upward, in sheer momentum. ..we reach apogee, and for a moment, we're in free fall...and slowly, slowly, we began to fall.." I'm wishing it's not an omen. I don't wanna be like Lex Luthor who says "I HATE YOU!!" at the end. Superman needs to stay great, even if other heroes are falling apart around him.

Load Off

by Eko Prasetyo @ 9:16 PM

Loading off something addictive and destructive is good for your health and mental state. I just decided that to discard one bad, destructive habit in which I am quite untalented: Forex Trading.
It's been a long time coming, but I believe this is the end for bad habits surrounding this one. It's been a waste of time and money and energy and mentality.
Good for others, but perhaps not for me.

TOP 10 BIGGEST BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS

by Eko Prasetyo @ 9:20 AM

1. No Breakfast
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level.
This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.

2. Overeating
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.

3. Smoking
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.

4. High Sugar consumption
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.

5. Air Pollution
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.

6. Sleep Deprivation
Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.
7. Head covered with Blanket while sleeping
Sleeping with the head covered, increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.

8. Working your brain during illness
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.

9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.

10. Talking Rarely
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain

The main causes of liver damage are:
1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver.
Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.

We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to "schedule

Evening at 9 - 11pm: is the time for eliminating unnecessary/toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health.

Evening at 11pm - 1am: is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 1 - 3am: detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 3 - 5am: detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.
Morning 5 - 7am: detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.

Morning 7 - 9am: absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 - 10am rather than no meal at all.

Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

Karma

by Eko Prasetyo @ 8:19 PM

Walking home with a senior, talking about the recent hot-mud-from-the-bottom-of-the-earth-flooding happening in Eastern Java suffered by the company's sister company, we ended up talking about karma. I meant, we know that the accident was first published as a mere drilling accident and under control, but a week afterward, it is escalating to a very bizarre disaster: hot mud mixed with oil and sulphuric gas bubbled out from the bottom of the crack in the earth, fllooding 3 villages and many industrial area in more than 100.000 cubic feet of clays, water, and God knows what. The karma part comes from the our knowledge that the company's owners and managements are hiding something. What they are hiding are the facts that there are probabilities that some drilling procedures done by the sister company are not adequate to prevent some pressure induced fluid overflow from some 9000 ft below surface. And those inadequate procedures are probably the effects of negative business practices done by everyone involved in the drilling project.

I won' t talk details.

Let's just say cooperation in bad things will only yield bad things right? And letting bad things happen, in my point of view, is the same as cooperating in bad things. So, why still we let bad things happen in our only Earth?

Limits

by Eko Prasetyo @ 6:25 PM

Playing through Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion using god mode cheat makes me think that limits are there simply to make our lives NOT boring. Yes, in god mode no one can harm me, no weights shall encumber me, and all doors are open for me. But god mode has the same effects that playing as high level, fully enchanted character in Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind: boredoms.

I first played god mode cause I have a feeling that dificulty level in Oblivion is quite unfair, and because my PC specs are somewhat on the bottom level of specs needed to run this game (can't stand the loadting time..). But in the end playing as invulnerable character really make me unable to truly appreciate the gore, the fighting, and the challenges that are present in this game.

But there's one more reason I need to continue usin god mode: daytime job. With the amount of energy spent in the daytime, I no longer have the energy to think about how to survive an ogre and his twin brother down in a tight cavernous channels surrounded by sharp metallic things that can hurt us...I just need the slashing, without the thinking, you know, to load-off daytime stresses?

Limits...can't live without them...

Disastrous

by Eko Prasetyo @ 6:46 PM

Earthquake is the most unpredictable kind o disaster in the world. No one can predict when it will happen, scientifically. But there are certain persons, claiming to have secrets of the world's future, that say they can tell you that there will be earthquake in the future.

These kind of people now take prominent positions in the mindset of people of Indonesia. They claim that the recent great earthquakes that have taken hundreds of thousands of lives are not ending. There will be more great earthquakes in the near future, and one of them will hit Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia.

I simply hate it when there are people, based on premonitions and bullshits, predicting that there will be disasters in the future. I really hate it when they say it at times when there are still people reeling from pains and grieves of losing their loved ones, their homes, and their normal lives. I hate it because what they say is close to saying catastrophic lies, and lying catastrophically to victims of disasters is TOTALLY INSANE !!

What more insane is a claming-to-be-paranormal saying that a disaster is not happening when it IS happening in front of him.
In recent events surrounding Mount Merapi heightened volcanic activity, an old, arrogant, stupid, claiming to be paranormal says that Merapi will not erupt, while in fact it has been erupting, spewing poisonous clouds and molten lava all, threatening people who won't leave the place because their leader, the arrogant old man said that the disaster is not happening.

I really hate it when there are influential people who based their actions on things don't exist.

God's words?

by Eko Prasetyo @ 7:40 AM

Cruising on Blogexplosion, I can't help but wonder on the existence of severals blogs who has posts that is made as if they are jesus christ's words. We know that they are not, and we know that it must be some signs of religious delusions.
I know, I know. I know that they mean good in acting like that, but it still has no sense. Why do they have to make up holy words if they just can snitch it from their holy books? Is that means their holy books are not worth quoting?

Sigh, the problems with so called "Bearers of Words of God"...one is an oil-greed bastard who happens to be commandeerin the largest armed forces on earth, and many are so lost in their delusions that they can't see what's wrong with their own holy books.

Jesus lived after crucifixtion. He didn't die there. Bible said so.

Sigh...

Welcome...

by Eko Prasetyo @ 3:38 PM

..to the land of oppresive lies and manipulated mass media.

Al-Zarqawi is dead. Freedom is saved. How pathetic.

How come the death of one man is a signal to a coming peace in a land occupied by soldiers of those who seeks to rape the land's riches? The way I see it, Zarqawi is a martyr for a struggle by ravaged people to gain their sovereignity and to be free of any other countries manipulated puppets.
If Zarqawi is a terrorist, then the same can be said for Xanana Gusmao who terrorized the land of East Timor before it was detached from Indonesia and fell into its sorry state today. The same can be said for Israel who terrorized the land of Middle East before it was considered a legitimate nation by some countries. The same can be said for founding fathers for all nations in the world who terrorized their occupants in order to gain freedom and control over their ancestors lands.

Terrorists? Isn't those who put fears into hearts of men, by words or by use of force?

Terrorists? Isn't that that damn fucking current USA Republic-dominated government?

Terrorists. Not Zarqawi, they aren't.

It feels wrong...

by Eko Prasetyo @ 8:09 PM

...when I defended my right to have full service from a public transportation guy. Well, if you are frequent & keen reader of my blog, you have read that the buses I took have a habit to transfer their passangers to other buses, in the middle of a route, in other to u-turn and catch more passangers.

See, it is my right to be carried into my destination without being transferred to other bus. So, in a bus rather full of passangers, I shout my objection when the bus fare-collector guy told us to transfer. I said "NO!" and other passengers said "NO!" too. The bus driver stalled for a minute, but after being dominated by the passengers unwillingness to move, he gave up and started the bus.

That's when the money-collector guy started whining to me "See, man, I need to give a huge amount of daily money to the boss so that I can eat. Can't do that if we don't do U-turn..."

I just went silent. I was touched really, I know that things are not fair with these poor bus drivers and fare-collectors. They have to pour sweat, shout screams, and speed fast in a crazy trafficed city so that they can collect an insane amount of money to be given to the bus owners which is almost 90% of what they gain every day.

It's hard life for them.

But still I cannot let my rights be taken by law-defying people, even when they are people who we should feel pity with.

It's not a fair world to some, but God knows more about fairness. Me? I am just defending my rights while trying to give others their rights...

Fill...

by Eko Prasetyo @ 8:33 PM

....this blog.

Every night, I have to fill this blog. Hmm...sometimes I wonder: what's the drive behind the ever automatic drive of someone's compulsion to fill his blog with daily entries?

For me, I thought at first that I can fill my blog with philosophical entries each night, because when I started this blog years ago (gee..near two years ago I guess) I was a worthless unemployed piece of meat who thought he can change the world with his typed words.

Now I am just a regular employed man who things he can change the world with his typed words but feeling that his energy is failing...you know, works and stuffs?

So, why do I fill my blog? Simple: cause I want to :)

Thinking...

by Eko Prasetyo @ 7:00 PM

...that somehow blogging has been a new canvas for many persons in this earth, has it been a cause to differences and conflicts that have been plaguing the new millenia?
Perhaps it's too long a shot, but perhaps it can be.

Or perhaps, in long shot, it can become the cure for human conflicts? I mean, with so many thoughts poured out into the blogs each day, and many bloggers are reading each other's blogs, perhaps an elevating degree of understanding can be achieved, an understanding, that perhaps can becoma a catalyst for human unification that ignores the barriers erected by self-satisfying governments and narrow-minded elitists?

Perhaps, perhaps. What we need now is how to overcome fear to authoritarian subjugation to freedom of thinking and how to better differentiate sweet-smelling lies from bitter-tasting truth...

Well, keep on believing, peace bloggers, cause beliefs are the foundations of human civilization and also the cause of its fall....

In Safe Mode

by Eko Prasetyo @ 6:07 AM

I write this post using wbloggar under Windows "Safe Mode". You know that Windows have been known to sometimes acting up strange, right? Right. Well, this morning, my windows didn't start up right. It got loaded, it shows the "Windows XP" screen and that nice moving bar animation, and black screen. Few harddisk indicator light's flicker later, it went silent. Harddisk didn't even act up. I waited, but still things won't continue.

So I moved to "Safe Mode with Networking" and write this. Hopefully, after this, I can start my Windows and get my normal life back.

Speaking of "Safe Mode", it occured to me while taking bath yesterday that the core of the problems that have been plaguing the world for the last decades is FEAR. Yes, I have said so many times that fear is the root of all problems. Fear from losing dominations, fear from losing jobs, fear from losing limited resources, fear from losing freedom, and mostly FEAR TO CHANGE THINGS.

Perhaps this talk about fear will be extended some other times, but now, let me cope with this "Safe Mode" problem firs, okay?

Smoking: Mankind Pathway to Doom?

by Eko Prasetyo @ 12:00 AM

Well, people can say that smoking is bad for your health, but do you have thought about it that smoking people can become the cause for the end of humanity?

Well, let's start with the obvious: cigars and cigarettes (and their families) are health deteriorating stuffs. They are choke full of chemical substances that are best left in a chemical plant waste processing facilities. They are saturated with excess chemical radicals resulting from imperfect oxidation (or burning) of organic materials. Some of the stuffs actually stick in smokers lung and reduce their capabilities to suck up air. Some of the said radicals bond with blood cells and body tissues and caused irregular mitosis of living cells and cause cancers and tumors to grow.

And those stuffs are not attacking the smokers only. Many of them spread all around, carried in the polluting gaseous substances that are blown out by smokers, annoying non-smokers and invading their innocence biological structures.

Smoking, in short, causes billions of dollars wasted in smoke-induced human biological deteriorations. A loss that, if not properly reduced, will hinder the growth of global economy forever.

But that's not all. Do you know that smoking can cause End of Days?

Let's start with the component that makes a cigarettes: tobaccos, spices, and...papers.
Papers are made from woods which are obtained from timbers that are harvested from forests and jungles. More cigarettes, more papers, more timbers need to be cut down.

Now, let's think of what do a smokers need to do before they poison themselves: they light up a match, oxidizing the solid phosporous substances molded on an edge of0 wooden solid stick, wasting both the precious oxigen and the ever reducing renewable resource. The then transfer the oxidizing reaction (the fire) from the match onto the cigarettes, causing more oxigen to be consumed.

Now, oxigen and woods, catch my drift?

Oxygen is the thing we needed to let our cells break up that Adenosyn Triphosphate to release energy it contains that have been powering us up. It is also the thing that fire, any kind of fire (even fire of love) consumes in order to keep alight.

Do you know where did oxygen comes from? Guess what: Photosynthetizing Leaves. They inhale carbon dioxyde (that greenhouse gas thing) and exhale oxygen. These uber-important leaves are mostly concentrated in forests and jungles, two kind of haves that have been being consumed by human civilization faster than they can reproduce. Consumed to make papers and matchsticks consumed in a smoking activity.

Well, there are other activities that consume oxygen and woods, but are you willing to believe that your cigarette is not the one who become the thing that pushed the balance between oxygen consumption and production? The thing that started a chain reaction in oxygen concentration regression? The thing that started world-wide carbon monoxyde suffocation?

Wanna be responsible for doom of mankind? Don't think of nuclear wars or uncurable pandemic virus, think about cigarettes and their deteriorating effects.

Stop smoking now. You'll be glad you are not the one who killed the mankind.

To Donate or Not To Donate....

by Eko Prasetyo @ 6:28 PM

...that's the question that occured to me on days following the devastating Earthquake that ravaged southern part of Central Java, with damages centralized in The Special Province of Yogyakarta. It was a 5.7 on richter scale earthquake, which can be classified as rather violent earthquake.

Soon, the victims were numbered in thousands, exceeding half thousand people of all ages. And adding more danger to the mix, Mount Merapi, the most active volcano in the world that has been showing signs of getting erupted soon for the past 3 weeks is still spewing lava and choking smokes.

My Condolescent for the victims and their families.

Now, with every natural disasters of this scale, helps and donations will soon be coming. Already organizations are announcing that they are accepting donations to be sent to devastated areas.

Organizations, and people on the street.

Boxes made of cardboard have been carried by people - some from local religious groups, university students, political parties, up to some devious looking people - on the street labelled with papers that say "Donations for Yogya" or so. It is quite a good sight actually, showing that people are acting up fast to collect donations for their fellow citizens in damaged areas.

What troubles me is that some of the cardboxes are hauled around by people that look like they are thinking of collecting the donation money for themselves. They have red, vicious eyes, sitting on the middle of a road guarding a box that said "Donation" while emitting aura that show rather suspicious intentions. They are the most glaring type of money-manipulating. You still unable to fully trust those that wear organization uniforms either. There are organizations here in Jakarta that act no better than some cliche mafia: good looking in the front but bloody and greedy in the back.

You just can't trust people collecting donation money on the street. Me? I rather donate my money to a trustworthy P.O Box than them. Money is getting hard to get, so they must be spent wisely.

Agree?
