Kurau Field Trip - End of Year Tour of Duty - Day 01 and 02

by Eko Prasetyo @ 11:09 AM

You know, life is easier if you know how to simplify things. Just take a look at my two days performing this current tour of duty. Its been a relatively no tension experiences, simply because I know people whom I must supervise were experienced field guys. I just give them the baseline and work-frame, watch the initiation of the job, and then retreat to the cozy portacamp while they perform their stuffs.

And my experiences dictate that a game-loaded laptop is a must have for long and boring supervising jobs, so I pulled out my Toshiba Satellite M105-S3045 (bought with a massive US$70 cut, thanks to my haggling skill), unfold it, connect its umbilical cord to the electric outlet, plug in my ever trusty Aopen WheelMouse O-35G (a wonderful 5 buttons 2 scrolls optical wired mouse that seems to be no longer available in local stores) to the side USB port (this portable baby has 3 side USB ports and one rear USB port, perfect for my need), and turned the baby on.

Clicking on an icon, and I changed myself into virtual god ruling my India in Civilization IV.

Civilization IV is just the right game for this long, boring, supervising job. It is turn-based game (which means you can leave it to give brief guidelines to the crew if necessary), and it can take 6-8 hours to finish a world-conquering game.

And if I got bored with CIV IV, there will always be Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War and Command and Conquer: Generals and CCG:Zero Hour. Yes, these games are old, but they are still fun, and besides, my laptop doesn’t have the graphic power needed to boot current generation of games (I can’t play Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion and Gothic III here)

And if ever got bored with games, there are ripped-off and compressed DVD movies, stored on the 100 gigabytes hard-disk, waiting to be played. See, I’m fully prepared for these last two boring days.

2006: YEAR OF THE COWARDS

by Eko Prasetyo @ 8:58 AM

2006 truly is year of the cowards. Cowards who use other people to achieve their goals. Cowards who have nothing but foul, full of lie words. Cowards who scheme and scheme and scheme and delight in schemes that fatten their own lies and delight in schemes that put thousands to deaths. Schemes that blatantly defies logics, but still they want to make it seems logical.

Cowards who delights in terrifying others. Putting fears in others hearts with lies filled with grand illusions. Bombin the common believes of the masses with threats framed by terrifying lies to make ways for their true goals: global capitals domination, global resources domination, and global security domination.

This is a year of total chaos and disinformations. Advances in global internet usage and proliferation of personal weblogs have make true, factual informations in danger of being obscured by lies, manipulation of words, and relentless bombarding from the blind-believers dogmas and accusations. Instead of using weblogs as ways to merge beneficial knowledges and filter out garbages that make majority of world's biggest pool of informations, some webloggers have promote hates and boost up destructive thinkings. Seen by thousands, these cowards put out their foul words under disguise of unknown names and seek shelters from those other cowards who seeks to conquer information world with their lies and schemes.

2006 truly is a year in which those "selected by the people" have misuse those trusts. Obscenity, Vulgarity, and Obstinance have become their dogmas. With no honors, they steal -in broad daylight and in front of everyboy- from the very people that have put hopes on them. They use their times effectively to collect wealths into their own hands. And they put this outrageous robbery under the shelter of their self-made and self-enriching legislations. Rules are but words, and words are their main weapons, for they are liars and schemers and robbers.

Human is a species with the most destructive weapon of all: Word. Word comes out of logics, and logics can be framed, structured, and built from repeated and merciless indoctrinations and subjugations.

Words that came out of illogic, in the year 2006, have been made as "logical bases" to perform despicable acts of civilization perversions.

2006, years where ultimately, people feels that they are screwed with their pants on.

Blue Giant Killer

by Eko Prasetyo @ 6:17 PM

Sony is a self-convergence-junky octopus. It is a greedy giant who thinks that its products must complements each others and only with each others. It is also a propietary things thrower, hoping to gain success from things that can be produced by itself, even when it has a very tough lesson from Beta. And boy, it is a lesson Sony must have forgotten, because now the ever-declining-in-stock-market company is releasing another expensive propietary thing: Blu-Ray. Many has predicted Sony is killing itself with Blu-Ray, and coupling two of its most apparent suicidal poisons make things worst. The two things are Blu-Ray and PlayStation 3

Terror hatched !!

by Eko Prasetyo @ 7:40 PM

A new species of bird of terror has been born from the hands of dubya and his lackeys.

F-35 Joint Strike Fighter is next terror for any country who has oil in their earths. Trust me. 20 years from now, a country, perhaps Indonesia, will be ripped apart by this next breed of metallic vulture.

Screwed Up

by Eko Prasetyo @ 9:07 PM

This is not a good age to be a moslem in Indonesia. The obvious part will be the fact that Indonesia and terrorist-bombings are turning into best friends in the news. And you know lah, nowadays, terrorist almost rape-rhymed with moslems, like the great Hitler once said "Truth is lies multiplied by hundreds"

But let me tell you why I feel like shit lately: one prominent millionaire moslem cleric married a widow with 3 children. His first wife, a reguler not so pretty woman, already gives him seven children. This prominent cleric, whose preaches can even be accepted by non-moslems, have been labelled as "the last example of premium moslem man" before the revelation that he married this widow. My point is, in the even of this "last premium example of a religious figure" showed a taint that's so devastating, what can be made as examples for the common moslems?

There is a story that this widow he married was in fact a woman he promised to find a mate for her. Well, he couldn't find it, so he took her himself instead. What keeps him from taking similar route later in the future?

And what if her wife asks him to divorce her, become a widow herself, and other man takes her as second wife? Will he be feeling "oh shit, so this is what if feels like..." ?

let's see the options: Politic-tainted clerics? Ex-convicts turned preachers? Artists turned preachers? Men, you gotta live in Indonesia to see that there is no more mass-accepted examples of moslem clerics here in Indonesia.

Indonesian moslems, we're screwed.

Another ugly news come from Indonesian House of Representatives. One of the members of this supposed-to-be-honorable-but-is-a-lair-of-corruptions-and-filthy-deeds was caught on a publicly cellphone-to-cellphone circulating sex-video. Well, I am not so surprised with this one, being a member of a house of scums, it can be expected. What adds insults-to-injuries is the fact that the man is a member of his party religious section. And he is a moslem.

Go figures. We have one untrustable cleric, and we have a religious section's member of a party went dicking women freely.

We're screwed, with our pants on.

Finally, Some Sense

by Eko Prasetyo @ 9:29 PM

Kofi Annan, prominent toypiece of USA, and later, dubya, finally shed some sense out of his foul mouth.
I call him a coward still though; his words came out close to his end of duty on December 31st, 2006. Still, even with these words of sensibilities, he is still a loser.

"If I were an average Iraqi, obviously I would make the same comparison, that they had a dictator who was brutal but they had their streets, they could go out, their kids could go to school and come back home without a mother or father worrying: 'Am I going to see my child again?'

Precisely.

Asked whether the situation in Iraq could now be classified as a civil war, Mr Annan pointed to the level of "killing and bitterness", and the way forces in Iraq were now ranged against each other.

"A few years ago, when we had the strife in Lebanon and other places, we called that a civil war. This is much worse.

Dubya's doll?

Mr Rubaie rejected Mr Annan's comments, asking: "Doesn't Kofi Annan differentiate between the mass killing of Iraqis by the security and intelligence apparatus of Saddam Hussein and the present indiscriminate killings of civilians, Iraqi civilians, by the al-Qaeda terrorists in Iraq?"

He added: "I'm shocked and stunned by what Kofi Annan alluded to, that the condition was better under the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein."

There's different between dictatorship acting stealthily to secure its position and businessmen harvesting from chaos that eats life. The former will feel much safer then the later for the average, ignorant, politic-free persons. The later will eat up everyone on its path.

Just don't do business with USA anymore, or you'll be trampled if they think you're not sucked dry enough.

Cool Pope? No, Coward Pope Still

by Eko Prasetyo @ 6:03 AM

The Dick Pope visited a mosque in Turkey "to mend relation with moslem".

Okay, here's my take:

1. Do the dick now confess that he was insulting moslem and needs to "make amend" now ?

2. Turkey is NOT a moslem country. Its Islam is low-class secular Islam even compared to Indonesia's moderate and diverse moslem communities. A jewish slave overturned the weeny Ottoman Turkey, the last now dead pre-petrodollar Islamic Monarch and turned it into a secular country. This country have always eager to be known as Europe Guy, but those white holocaust lickers are not convinced since Turkey have "Islam" on their label. A word or two from the primo vatican fascist religio-monarch gay could make europe rethink their recurring rebuttals.

3. Man, this must be the ugliest, most imported-from-hell face any pope has ever donned:

and now for your considerations:

The protest outside was linked to an Islamist-nationalist party, which said the pontiff's tour was an affront to the secularism enshrined in Turkey's constitution, as well as an attempt to stake a Catholic claim to the site.

Monarch-wannabe religious structure is a decaying relic from the past, agree? AGREE !! Answering otherwise will make your own head spins because of illogics.
